HOW YOU CAN HELP

Gifts of $1,000 or More

Major gifts of $1,000 or more to Sheffield Land Trust support land protection projects and/or the membership campaign and represent over 80% of SLT's income from individual contributions annually.

To celebrate 25 years of protecting the forests, fields, and farms that make Sheffield special, the Sheffield Land Trust established a Million Dollar Fund. The Fund allows the Land Trust to complete current projects and take advantage of new conservation opportunities as they arise.

A generous bequest from Deborah Reich, a Board member and past president who passed away, and pledges from current and former Board members and their families have provided the first $500,000 of the fund. The Sheffield community—as well as businesses and foundations—contributed the remaining $500,000.

Membership contributions, multi-year pledges, challenge grants and bequests are ways that you can help SLT achieve its operating and project fund raising goals! View SLT's most recent IRS Form 990.

To make a contribution or pledge, please print and mail our donation or pledge form. Contributions to SLT are tax-deductible. Thank you!
